The purpose of this blog is to keep family and friends updated with the most recent news on Matthew. It will also document his biggest trial to date and serve as a reminder of how many people love and support him, and how much the Lord loves him when he has beat this terrible disease.

Super T

Yesterday mom gave Matthew a haircut and it looks really good. His volleyball coach also came over and brought him the club team uniform. It was really nice of him to do, and Matthew loves it. He went to a Gilbert High volleyball game today and wore the uniform with the team. He had to wear his mask though because his immune system is so weak. One of the funny things about this whole experience is that T will never admit that he has cancer. He is convinced that he has been bitten by a radio active bug and that he will come out if this with super powers. I think he said he'll have the power of flight. He also refers to his port as his arc reactor. I guess it's a good thing to live in denial sometimes...or to look on the brighter side of things. However you want to see his outlook on cancer.

    Love to hear he went to a game and that he can finally admit to the world his huge secret of supper powers!!! I love and miss you all so much every day. T I always knew you had supper powers.
