Mining for Marrow

Today was the day that Matthew had bone marrow samples taken from his hip. His doctor said that this test would probably tell us his diagnosis, but if it didn't then they would have to take samples from the tumor itself. She didn't get a good enough marrow sample the first time, so she poked him three more times to get a total of four samples. After that procedure Matthew's pain was intensified so much. He has to be on constant oxygen to help him breathe, and he is on so much heavy duty pain medication to try to reduce his pain.
