Calories are Delicious

T had a lot of visitors again today. Some basketball players from the Phoenix Suns came in, some of his friends, and some friends from the ward. My dad shaved his face today so the beard is gone, but he got some sweet side burns shaved in. They look like Wolverine's side burns.
The nurses gave him a shot called Neulasta, which will rebuild his white blood cells. It might make his bones ache because it is building the count so fast, and it burned going in. He has to get this shot at the end of every chemo session, so he'll get it 5 more times after tonight. My mom has been force feeding him all day to avoid the feeding tube, and he hates it. She has given him a few scandishakes, which are anywhere from 600-900 calories each. He really likes those, but who wouldn't? Im sure 900 calories taste delicious!
